Gate City Playing at Hunter Wright

Got it straight from the Horses Mouth rather the Acting Horses Mouth. They will be playing at Hunter Wright this year.

Not sure how you get to play ball out of state? Looks like that would violate some VHSL rule???

ask any kid in the lpd if he cares about playing at a minor league field before you decide for them

who cares its not like the field plays that big of a role in the outcome of the games. IMO

There is someone who shall remain nameless who pays for them to play there.

actually they go around asking local businesses for donations as well as have fundraisers

they're very nice people, but they don't pay for everything

Graham plays all of their "home" football games in WV...out of state...not a violation of VHSL rules.

As a matter of fact, Graham hosted the AA State Championship game in '89 and it was played out of state, in WV...the only VA State Championship not decided within the boundary of the state...
